POWERFLUSHING
All heating systems are affected by corrosion over time as water reacts with oxygen and metal components, this leads to the formation of sludge and iron oxide particles which eventually block radiators, pipework and the boiler heat exchanger.
A dirty system will be inefficient, noisy and components such as pumps and valves will fail prematurely. These parts can be costly to replace and will likely have a shortened lifespan unless the system is cleaned and the only way to ensure a comprehensive clean is with a purpose designed powerflush machine and chemical suite.
Most boiler manufacturers stipulate that all existing heating systems are powerflushed before the new appliance is installed to prevent any sludge or iron oxide particles from entering the boiler heat exchanger which, due to the low water content and small internal pipework bore of modern boilers will cause lasting damage. It is also a requirement to satisfy the benchmark and to validate any manufacturers warranty.

Before we begin...

A short survey will be required before a powerflush is arranged. This survey is carried out FREE OF CHARGE and is essential to ascertain if your system is suitable for a powerflush and to estimate the time required to complete the process correctly.
You will then be provided with a written quotation along with the cost of any extras agreed.
Most systems benefit greatly from the powerflushing process but as it is impossible to confirm the exact level of corrosion inside a heating system please follow the link to the disclaimer below:
